Quartz sand filter, also called pressure filter, is an important part of the water purification system in the early stage of pure water preparation. The filter is filled with selected quartz sand media, which can remove sediment, rust, and colloids contained in the raw water. Objects, suspended solids and other impurities; the system can be manual or fully automatic, and can perform backwashing, forward washing and other operations regularly. The setting of the backwashing cycle is based on the quality of the raw water or is determined based on the pressure difference. When the pressure difference reaches 0.05 When -1.0MPa, backwash is performed, and the backwash intensity is 12-15L/(m³.S)
